All children under the age of 16 are classed as an unaccompanied minor (please note that additional charges may apply) and so we will make sure they are well looked after for the duration of their journey. This includes our drivers introducing themselves upon arrival to establish familiarity, taking their luggage and depositing it safely within our luxurious vehicle, checking in regularly along the way and, of course, making any comfort stops that may be required. Most importantly, our driver will remain with your student at all times, and will only leave once they are confident that the airline company or an Ellesmere College staff member can take over.
If travelling to the airport, our driver will also establish whether your student has everything they need to ensure their journey runs smoothly, including important documentation such as passports.
Is your student arriving into the country? Our driver will continually monitor live flight information in order to stay up to date with progress and, in the event that any delays occur, we will adjust our arrival time accordingly, ensuring we arrive precisely when your student is ready to be taken on to Ellesmere College. They will be able to locate our driver with ease as we will arrange a meet-up point when you book with us and we will be carrying a clearly labelled sign for identification.
